With a heartfelt "Dobrodošli" and "Hello," we welcome you to Hotel Kvarner Palace in Crikvenica, Croatia!

To ensure that your "most beautiful days of the year" are truly memorable and that you feel at home right away, we would like to provide you with some helpful information about our hotel and facilities.

FAQ

Arrival and Departure

Your room will be ready at 3:00 PM on the day of your arrival. On the day of departure, we kindly ask that you check out by 10:30 AM. Should you wish, you are most welcome to enjoy the rest of the day by the pool or in the SPA area.

Underage alcohol consumption prohibited

Alcohol consumption is prohibited for individuals under 18 years of age

Allergies/Pharmacy/Doctor

Our kitchen team is happy to prepare special allergy-friendly menus. Please inform our reception staff in advance. We kindly ask that you notify us early of any food intolerances. Thank you! We are not permitted to provide medications. Should you require medication or need a doctor, we will gladly arrange an appointment and/or direct you to the nearest pharmacy/doctor. A first aid kit is available at the reception.

Beauty/Spa and wellness area

Our SPA area is open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. For appointments, please contact the SPA reception (Tel. 607).
Please note that delays cannot be compensated by extending your treatment time beyond the scheduled appointment. If you arrive later than your scheduled time, your treatment time will be shortened accordingly.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, cancellations made the day before will be charged at 50%, and cancellations on the same day will be charged at 100%.

Important Info:
Clean pool and beach towels are available at the wellness reception. Please exchange them there- note that the SPA area is a place of peace and relaxation. Access to the sauna area is only allowed for individuals aged 16 and over. The sauna area is a nude area.

Reception

The Reception is at your disposal vom 0-24h and may be reached by dialing 9. The settlement of your invoice is available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. To avoid waiting on the morning of your departure, it is possible to pay the bill the day before.

Telephone Service

You may use the telephone to make internal calls as well as national and international calls. To make an internal phone call, just dial the room number or  department number. For external line, please dial „8“ before desired number.  The cost of national and international calls is 1,50 kuna per unit.  If you are expecting a call, you can be reached on the number 00385 (0) 51 38 0 + your room number

Sun beds/umbrellas

At the hotel pool there are sun beds and umbrellas free at your disposal. Out of consideration for other hotel guests, please do not „reserve“ a sun bed when you are not at the pool. Our staff will release sun beds and collect pool towels. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Electricity

The hotel operates on 220V alternating current.

E-charging stations

Kvarner Palace offers hotel guests free charging for their electric or hybrid vehicles. The following connections are available:

2 x Tesla 400V 16A / 11 kW Type II1 x Schuko 230V 16A (slow charging)Note: Not all car brands can be charged at the Tesla Type II wallboxes. Please check in advance if your vehicle is compatible. If necessary, you can use the Schuko 230V connection with a longer charging time. Our technical staff will show you the Schuko connections and provide extensions if needed. After charging, please free up the charging space for other users. 

Fitness center

Our fitness center is located in the SPA area and is open daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Please note that the use of equipment is not permitted for children under the age of 16.

Transfers

Please inform us in advance if you are arriving or departing by train or airplane. We would be happy to arrange a transfer for you. The cost per journey is approximately €65.00.

Tennis

The hotel offers two tennis courts free of charge (depending on availability) for our hotel guests. For reservations please contact Reception. Our tennis coach Dražen can be booked additional for EURO 35 per hour.

Taxi

We will gladly call a taxi for you. Please contact Reception.

Pets

We are happy to welcome your four-legged friend. Please note that, for hygiene reasons, dogs are not permitted in the restaurant, wellness area, poolside lawns, or restaurant terraces. If your dog needs a walk, you can enjoy the beautiful beach promenade in Crikvenica or the forest trails in the nearby. There are plenty of walking opportunities right outside the hotel. For safety reasons, please ensure that your dog is never left unattended anywhere on the hotel grounds (including the 30,000 m² park area). A leash is required at all times, both indoors and outdoors, throughout the entire hotel and park area. Kindly dispose of your dog's waste using the provided waste bags and place them in the designated outdoor bins. There are also designated dog-friendly beaches along the Crikvenica Riviera—one of them is described here: https://monty.hr/crikvenica/  . A cleaning fee of €20 per day will apply for your four-legged companion.

Gastronomy

Our restaurant, located on the lower floor of the hotel with an inviting sun terrace, is available for breakfast and dinner at the following times:Breakfast Buffet: 07:00 AM – 11:00 AMSince we believe that "vacation means sleeping as long as you want," we are happy to serve breakfast in your room or on your balcony. Please dial extension 9 (Reception) and let us know your preferences.

Internet

In the hotel lobby and in your room free WiFi is at your disposal.

Minibar

Please note that all drinks and snacks in the minibar are not included in the room rate. The minibar is checked and replenished daily. Upon check-out, we kindly ask you to present your minibar consumption during your stay at the reception.

Voucher

Give a piece of happiness. Surprise your loved ones with a gift voucher of our house, a spa treatment or a catering voucher. You can get your desired voucher from our reception team.

Hairdresser

Our staff at reception will gladly make an appointment for you at the hairdresser in the city.

Emergency number

For emergencies, you can dial the emergency number 112, which is for police, fire, and medical assistance.

Church

The Catholic Mass is held every Sunday at the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 08:00, 10:00, and 19:00.

Bar

Our hotel bar (in the lobby near the reception) is daily at your disposal from 3:30 p.m.

Excursions

Our excursion-  and house events program is available at the Reception or on the Info-channel on your TV.

Payment – Credit cards

You can charge your restaurant consumption to your room number. Please write your room number and name clearly on each bill to avoid any confusion. Thank you! Please note the following when settling your bill:You can pay with cash in euros, Maestro card, or credit card (VISA and MASTERCARD). Since January 1, 2023, the national currency is the euro.

ATM/Currency Exchange

The nearest ATM is located approximately 200 meters from the hotel towards the beach and in the city center. Currency exchange offices are also available in the city center of Crikvenica.

Pool and beach towels

Upon your arrival, you will find a beach bag with 2 towels for the pool or beach in your room. If you wish to exchange them, please ask your room maid or the wellness reception for help.

Do not disturb

If you do not wish to be disturbed in your room, please hang the provided "Do Not Disturb" sign on your door. Kindly inform us when your room can be cleaned.

Air conditioning

Each room is equipped with air conditioning, which is set to automatic. When windows or balcony doors are opened, the air conditioning will turn off. To turn off the air conditioning, set the left switch to OFF, and to turn it back on, set it to ON. Please do not use any other switches on the thermostat. If you experience any difficulties, please contact our reception team (Tel. No. 9).

Shopping opportunities

The town offers various small shops, boutiques, a drugstore, jewelry stores, a currency exchange and grocery stores. You will also find shopping options in the city center of Rijeka (37 km away).

Keycard

Your keycard can be used to open your room door and also to open the parking gate. Please leave your Keycard at Reception when checking out.

Shoe cleaning machine

An automatic shoe polisher is  located on the ground floor direction to the north tower.

Safe

Each room is equipped with a safe. Please read the instruction manual, located on the safe. We kindly ask you to lock your valuables always. The hotel is not responsible for any valuables kept in the room.

Parking

Outdoor Parking. Garage is included in the room rate for Deluxe, Suite, and Family Apartment categories. For other categories, parking is available upon request for a fee of €10 per day, subject to availability.

Laundry service

You are welcome to leave your laundry for cleaning and ironing in the provided laundry bag along with the completed laundry form at the reception. The price list can be found in your wardrobe. Your clean laundry will be returned to your room within 24 hours. The charges will be posted to your room account.

Fire escape plan

In the event of a fire, please close the door of the affected room and immediately report the fire to the reception (ext. 9). If the evacuation alarm sounds, exit the hotel via the designated escape routes. Please do not use the elevators in the event of a fire!Escape plans for the unlikely event of a fire or other emergencies are located in each room behind the entrance door and in the hotel hallways. Escape routes are clearly marked with green and white signs.

Business center

We are pleased to offer our 85 m² seminar room (L 13.80m x W 6.20m) for seminars, meetings, and events. You can also book one of our conference packages, which includes meeting technology, coffee breaks, and a business lunch.
